Turn Back

You begin to make your way upwards. The fear of being poisoned to death by toxic gasses causes you to move a little too fast and lose your footing. You tumble backwards and begin sliding; then tumbling violently downwards. The momentum of your body crashing against the loose rocks causes a landslide which propels your fall. You suddenly realize what the red glow and sulfur smell was emanating from – a pit of molten lava flashes into your awareness just moments before you are incinerated.
