The fragrance of the flowers is almost intoxicating. You feel a bit giddy and a sense of wonder as you trample through the lush meadow. Just when you think you can’t take the beauty any more, that the natural world couldn’t possibly offer any more bucolic splendor, you spot an unbelievably large blossom several yards away. You feel transfixed by the way the sun light seems to penetrate the petals and refract into more colors than there are words for. There is almost a sense of terror that accompanies the awe inspired by this extraordinary bloom. You fear that if you were to approach any closer the flower would absorb your entire being. Something so beautiful as this must be dangerous, you think to yourself.
